SEC worked on the project titled “Strengthening Institutional Capacity to Support Energy Efficiency in Selected Asian Countries” with UNESCAP. This project was approved by the higher SAARC bodies and the implementation was assigned to SEC. This project includes a gap shot study on energy efficiency of a country, one national workshop and one sub-regional workshop. National Workshop was conducted in Pakistan (100 participants) and Sub-Regional workshop was conducted in Bhutan.
