SAARC Energy Center, in collaboration with Virtual University (VU) Pakistan, has developed Basic Certificate Course on Power System Planning and Analysis. This effort, first ever in South Asia, is jointly supported by all SAARC Member States. The purpose of these courses is to strengthen the skills and knowledge of ever-busy power sector professionals of SAARC countries while providing them the convenience of time flexibility and online access. The course is equally important for senior engineering students and faculties to get an orientation of power system planning practices, in an industry perspective, from experts who have extensive field experience.
To register for the course, click on http://www.vu.edu.pk/apply/saarc/. Following the short registration process, the link will lead the candidates to fee submission stage. The fee can be submitted online through VISA as well as through regular/microfinance banks for Pakistani candidates. VU has set the fees of PKR 6,000 for local registrants and US$ 50 for international registrants.
