In pursuance of the recommendation by Ministry of Energy and Power, Afghanistan, SAARC Energy Centre had planned a three days initiative to train utility power planners for undertaking Power System Studies (Load Flow Study, Short Circuit Analysis and Transient and Dynamic Stability Analysis) which is a pre-requisite to develop a comprehensive plan of integration of isolated networks into one grid system. A 3-day workshop was organized in Kabul with the collaboration of Ministry of Energy and Water, Afghanistan on 20-22 October 2014.Participants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Pakistan attended the Workshop, in which they shared their views and experiences with each other.
