Virtual Consultative Workshop on “Cross Border Electricity Trade in SAARC Region: Challenges and Investment Opportunities”

SEC successfully conducted Virtual Consultative Workshop on “Cross Border Electricity Trade in SAARC Region: Challenges and Investment Opportunities” on 11th November 2021. Delegates from the SAARC Member States and experts from regional/international organization’s UN ESCAP, ADB and Research Triangle Institute India participated in this workshop. The participants deliberated on the current status of cross-border electricity trade in South Asia, challenges and their mitigation strategies and future outlook of electricity trade in the region.
