SAARC Energy Centre (SEC), has successfully organized a Webinar on “Energy Saving Potential in Electric Motor Using Variable Frequency Drive”on Friday, May 22, 2020 (2.00 PM of 4:30 PM PKT).
The webinar will be of two- and half-hour long activity. Experts will be the scientists from pioneering technology leader in electric motor and VFD manufacturers and specialists from Industries/Universities. They shall make presentations focusing energy savings potential in electric motor system covering the range of electric motors and VFD products including types, size, selection criteria etc. They will also provide basis of energy savings in electric motor installation using VFD, and will uncover the areas of energy savings potential in existing industrial process where the efficient drives can be used. The objective of the webinar is to share the information on energy efficiency improvement in electric motor systems using VFD and sensitize the manufacturers, users and energy officers about benefits of such devices.
