SAARC Energy Centre had conducted a webinar on 17th October, 2024. The webinar was completed, bringing together experts and stakeholders to discuss the potential and challenges of this Renewable Energy source. The session highlighted the Region’s vast Hydropower resources and the role of Pumped Storage in ensuring energy security and mitigating climate change. The Policy and Regulatory frameworks which supported or hindered the adoption of Pumped Storage Hydropower were also discussed.
